Many textilepatterns depict nature with plants and animals that challenge the imagination. We live in a time where we are still able to experience amazing nature, not least in Sweden. But what will our landscape look like in the future?
With increased urbanization and global warming, we can already see major changes in our environment. Research shows that the climate in Sweden may get hotter and drier, deciduous forests will disappear and small streams will dry out. This pattern is a visualization of how Swedish nature may look in the future. The project is made in collaboration with the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics and Svenskt Tenn.
